Our Kapitbahay pet parents will know this: fur babies aren’t just pets — parang anak na rin natin sila. And just like any other family member, they deserve their own comfortable spaces in the home. So why not make their spaces as homey and special as they are with these must-have pet-friendly furniture?
From beds to lounge on to places to play in, we’ve found the most adorable, pet-friendly furniture to make your home a place you and your fur babies will fall head over paws for. Here are some tail-wagging finds that will have your pets living in style.
Time for Bed
Just as we invest in the things that provide us comfort, we should consider treating our pets with the same care. After all, ayaw din natin matulog sa sahig noh! That’s why every fur baby deserves a cozy pet bed to catch some z’s and take their midday naps — plus points if it's in a cute design. Think of it as an extra decorative piece to add charm to your living space.
A Pet Nest
For smaller cats and dogs that like a bit of privacy, a pet nest gives them a plush place to rest while ensuring they have their much-needed pet-sonal space. There are plenty of whimsical pet nests to try, as well as cute cotton pet house designs for a more homey feel. BRB, idlip muna!
If you’d want something sturdier, Kapitbahay Ericka found a lovely pet house you may like, featuring metal materials to help efficiently cool down your fur baby.
Classic Pet Beds
If you’re not looking for anything too fancy, there’s no going wrong with the classic, fluffy pet bed. Soft, plush, and spacious enough to fully stretch atop — what’s not to love?
Or, you can kabog-ify your pet bed by taking inspo from Kapitbahay Bernadeth for the cutest wooden bed for your fur baby! They snagged theirs from The Pet Project and added an adorable, customizable sign to complete the puppy crib.
Pet Hammocks
Planning a camping or beach trip with your fur baby but don’t know how to bring their bed with you? ‘Wag masyadong ma-stress — we got you. Something lightweight, like a pet hammock, would be easy to bring around (and be fun to look at). Or, if you’d just like a day bed for your home that’s breathable and easy to keep tidy, a ventilated hammock works just as well.
For the genuinely spoiled, a rocking chair for your pampered pet is a need for lulling your little furry one to sleep like the true baby they are — siesta time na!
Multi-functional Pet Beds
If you want to save space, multi-functional beds that act as tables are a good investment — discreet, practical, and ultra-cozy. Plus, more table space is always a win! However, these can get pretty pricey, especially if you’ll be having one specially made. It’s still cute, though!
Pet Stairs and Ramps
Short legs can be a problem, especially for dogs with trouble jumping up and onto beds or couches. The fix? Pet stairs! Try one with built-in compartments for extra storage to make it even more useful. Or, if stairs might still be challenging, a pet ramp may do the trick.
