Are you ready for it? We hope so because we’re covering the rest of Taylor Swift’s eras here. Whether your vibe is Reputation or folklore, you’ll have a marvelous time decorating everything. Without further ado, let the games begin! Here’s how to decorate your home, Eras Tour style.
(And if you don’t find your fave era here, check out Part 1).
Reputation
Are you a fan of edgier Taylor? This era is full of monochromatic drama and intensity, but if you listen closely, there are some delicate elements here and there. The secret lies in balancing these two moods — call it what you want, na lang. (At Home Buddies, we call it #TeamItim.)
Dark tones, serpentine aesthetics, and sparkly sequins are the foundation of the Reputation era. Subtle but striking accessories like black glittery pillowcases or a vintage-style snake ornament would rule the kingdom inside your room.
Lover
Lover might just be Taylor’s most blissfully-in-love project to date, and if you know what it sounds like, you probably already know what it should look like. So, if you’re a Lover lover, it’s time to make your room more romantic than ever. (Sana all, nasa honeymoon phase pa.)
Fill your room with a color scheme of pastel pinks, blues, oranges, and yellows. As for decor, string lights (that you’ll leave up ‘til January), colorful fake flowers, and fluffy rugs will make your room feel golden — like daylight.
folklore
Sweet tea in the summer. Vintage tees and old cardigans. Need we say more? Folklore is a break from all the flashy glam and reflects on the album’s aesthetics. Our Kapitbahays love their cottagecore interiors, and if you’re a folklore enthusiast, you probably do, too.
Folklore is all about cottagecore softness, from vintage decor to green, leafy plants. Take it up a notch by opting for wooden furniture, like chairs or storage baskets. To complete the vibe, look for woven wall art or paintings that scream “Windemere peaks.” Kahit walang forest sa backyard mo, you can still experience what it’s like to live for the hope of it all.
evermore
Living in a tropical climate means there’s no such thing as winter, but that’s okay because we have evermore to feed our fantasies. Think flannels, cashmere, faded Christmas decorations, and old wine glasses.
But you can leave the “problems” out of champagne problems because poignant doesn’t always have to mean sad. Long story short, ‘tis the season to bundle up in earth-toned blankets and paint scenic murals, like this relaxing wall art from Kapitbahay Jen C Laduna.
Midnights
Taylor’s Midnights range from lavender haze to bejeweled to catastrophic blues. Similarly, our nights can be sleepless or filled with sweet dreams. Kahit ano mang feel mo, there are many ways to blend these vibes into your home.
Set the scene with galaxy projectors and moon lamps para mas feel ang pagmumuni over Midnight Rain. And if that’s a little too angsty for you, opt for decorative vinyl records to balance the gloom. The fun thing about this era is that it’s a little bit of everything — reflective, moody, and positive, all at the same time. It just hits different!
